Joyce "Hank" Broadus

Our classmate Joyce “Hank” Broadus was recently featured—on the front page, no less—of the May 6–12 edition of the Pittsburgh Courier after returning as a guest speaker at the Homewood Branch of the Carnegie Library during its 116th anniversary celebration. Please click on the link above to see Hank on the front page! The occasion was especially meaningful, as Hank was warmly welcomed back to the very institution where she devoted years of distinguished service. It was a fitting homecoming for a respected librarian, educator, and community leader whose commitment to knowledge, literacy, and lifelong learning has touched countless lives. Seeing Hank honored in such a prominent way is a testament to the lasting impact of her professional contributions and the esteem in which she continues to be held. What a wonderful and well-deserved recognition for one of our own!
